"I was at a stand still with my weight . I was able to find Julia through a family friend. I was able to book my first appointment over 6 months ago and probably able to say I have lost 70 pounds and still going . Not only has it helped me weight loss wise it also help my mental health get better overall too."

"Julia is so attentive and encouraging. Her energy is really supportive so I feel comfortable talking to her. She’s made me PDF’s to help me maintain a balanced diet, she is helpful with recipes, helping to keep me accountable, and all this really helps me feel in charge of my own health. I started with her because I was told I probably have premenstrual dysphoric disorder and instead of using medication I wanted to make sure my diet is balanced and supporting my body properly. Julia has been so excited to jump in and help me and after just a week I’m already feeling a difference. Can’t recommend her enough."

"If you are like me and struggle with food, both psychologically and with portion control, Dr. Julia D’Amelio is the doctor for you. Over my time spent with Julia (approximately one year) I lost a total of 48 pounds. Progress was slow at times, but it was steady and I never felt like I was starving myself or had to do any extreme diet fads. She taught me how to look at food in a way as to not punish myself but rather to fuel my body. Over the year I got a total of three meal plans (one original plan and two plan revamps when the weight loss slowed down). Julia really catered my meal plans to my busy lifestyle and made the meal prep quick with minimal effort. She showed me the benefit of diversity in food and switching up your meals and taught me how to structure my meals properly with what my body needs. Not only did I lose significant weight while working with Julia, I became more self confident, my mood, stress, sleep and energy improved, and I have a much better relationship with food. Honestly, the mindset shift towards a healthier lifestyle is something that I see sticking with me forever. "Julia is absolutely incredible and filled with so much knowledge! We started our sessions focused on more of a weight loss goal, then switched gears once I found out I was pregnant. She’s provided me with so many tools and meal structures to fuel my body, reduce inflammation and have more energy which overall led to a better mood & less fatigue. Her expertise has rooted me to change my perspective on what I put into my body & be conscious of how it will make me feel & what it’s doing to fuel me. Each session we created short term goals which resulted in a long term lifestyle change that work for me and have me feeling my best! Julia is honest, professional and has a warm energy about her that will make you feel so welcomed & comfortable opening up about your health. "As someone who currently has breast cancer, and has to avoid certain foods (per my oncologist instructions), Julia has been instrumental in helping me stay healthy through a guided nutrition plan. I opted for an individual nutritional plan that she offered, as I had to make sure that certain foods remain out of my diet. She carefully listened to my health goals, my food needs, what I loved (and would not give up) and prepared a plan that I could incorporate eating out and preparing food at home. During the three months she was helping me, Julia was always available via email and text in case I had a question about a food product, or what healthy choices I can eat at a restaurant. I lost 18 pounds (and counting!), my arthritis in my knee has lessened a great deal, and my bloodwork is at a healthy range. She taught me a great deal about nutrition and how simple changes can make me feel better. I highly recommend Julia because not only is she knowledgeable, but kind and supportive as well."

"I have been working with Julia for about 3 or 4 months now. Her guidance and accountability have been crucial for my steady health journey progress. So far, I am 20 pounds down, I have way more energy, and the healthier habits are being formed. I couldn’t have done it without her help.
Julia is so well spoken, knowledgeable, understanding, and invested in my growth, that it makes me determined to continue on this health journey and reach both my short and long-term goals. I decided to meet with Julia weekly and have her create a meal plan for my lifestyle. It was (and still is) worth it!
I am continuously blown away by Julia’s knowledge and her ability to seamlessly explain concepts and specifically how our decisions impact our bodily functions (down to the cellular level!) to someone with limited knowledge in the area. That’s a true sign that she knows what she’s talking about.
My favorite thing about working with Julia is that she isn’t selling me on some fad diet that will get you to lose a bunch of weight just to gain it all back. She is focused on helping me create a lifestyle change that is sustainable. The way that she focuses on multiple aspects of our wellbeing, such as sleep, movement, nutrition, mindset/stress management, etc., is helping me to shift my mindset around nutrition and improve my overall health.
